  1. Can’t deny the power of Fela’s music. There’s nothing like hearing a Fela track on a fine tuned big club system and watching the dancers go off. I remember being at Club Shelter in NYC around 2002 and Timmy Regisford dropped “Expensive Shit” and “Shakara”…the crowd lost it each time. PURE DOPE!
